Applications for the respiratory therapy program will be accepted annually from August 15 through May 1, or until the program is filled. An official copy of all high school 和 大学 transcripts must be submitted to Enrollment Services before application is processed. Applicants will receive notification of admission status beginning October 1.
Your high school 和/or 大学 transcript must indicate a grade of ‘C’ or better in algebra I 和 either biology, 化学, 或物理. 代数1 (1), 基本的代数, 应用生物学, 和 consumer 化学 do not satisfy pre-requisite requirement. Algebra I parts 1 和 2 will satisfy the algebra I requirement. If you do not have a ‘C’ or better in high school 和/or 大学 pre-requisite courses we will suspend processing your application at this time 和 you must schedule a meeting with the Respiratory Therapy faculty immediately to develop a plan to complete the pre-requisites. Applicants who have lived permanently in the following jurisdictions for twelve months prior to June 1 will receive priority consideration for admission as long as they meet the minimum admission requirements:
Residents from all other jurisdictions will not be admitted unless space remains available after these have been admitted. Although we welcome admission applications from students from other jurisdictions, based on recent experience, it is unlikely that students from a jurisdiction other than the locations listed above will gain admission to the program.

Lack of English skills will not be a barrier to admission or participation. In order to eliminate barriers, we take appropriate measures to assess each student’s ability to participate 和 benefit through placement testing 和 counseling. Based on the assessment 和 counseling, students are then provided with campus 服务 or a referral to community 服务 to be better prepared for successful participation.
